Republican Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama as attorney general is known to hold tough positions on immigration of Muslims to America including Syrian refugees.

Trump’s appointment of Steve Bannon as his chief strategist caused a national uproar because of Bannon’s close ties to the Alt-right.
