Al-Islam is very much a family oriented religion. A day for celebrating father's and the important role of fatherhood is halal (permissible); a day that we hope to use as a motivator for men to be the best fathers they can be year-round.

The role of father is that of a leader and a provider. Too often society seeks to emasculate (deprive (a man) of his male role or identity). Al-Islam is designed to reinforce all of the important and sacred roles of the father, mother, family and child.
