This Nur-Allah Islamic Center and IUPUI collaboration is an archive documenting the life of a congregation that was aligned with the Hon. Elijah Muhammad’s Nation of Islam and then transitioned after his death in 1975 to the leadership of Elijah’s son, Imam W. Deen Mohammed. This project tells the story of a Muslim American journey; its struggles and celebrate its successes
The archive reveals the community’s long engagement with the Roman Catholic-based Focolare Movement. The Indiana Gov. Frank O’Bannon making Imam Mohammed an “Honorary Hoosier.” in Feb. 2008 as well as late Rep. Julia Carson welcoming the support of Muhammad Ali as she first campaigned for Congress.
PART 2: A panel discussion on the successes of "100@$50" a noble effort started by Imam Adam Beyah along with his wife Sister Binah Mohammed. In a 37th month "100@$50" has raised over $95,000 to support the full-time schools in our association of Muslim followers of Imam W. Deen Mohammed.
