Join WORDS-MAKE-PEOPLE on Sunday May 17, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. EST as we discuss two very important topics; PART 1: "Making Our Masjid Covid-19 Safe" with Imam/Dr. Bashir Ali our National Convener and Dr. Mikal Ramadan. In our 2nd hour Editor Ayesha K. Mustafa and Sisters Sutanah Whitfield and Yasmeen Salaam will discuss, "Helping Muslim Journal Survive Covid-19".

Allah instructs Muslims not to expect people of other faiths to be the caretaker (friends responsible) for our Islamic life. It is in the spirit of "Do For Self" that we must study our community's need and the diligently -- as people of faith -- pursue the remedies, and establish the implementation of those remedies to EVERY need in our Islamic life.

No one other than Muslims can best address how masajid or Islamic centers can prepare our institutions for reopening during this challenging Covid-19 season. We need for our Muslim doctors and scientist -- people familiar with Islamic prayers and practices -- while respecting the guidance of CDC and local health departments, to establish the timing and protocols for when and how reopen our Islamic facilities. Join us as we discuss this with Dr. Ramadan and Imam Bashir Ali.

PART 2: "Helping Muslim Journal Survive Covid-19". Muslim Journal is OUR intuition that is capturing our African American sojourn towards our G_d-given Destiny. Covid-19 is having a devastating effect on many media outlets and Muslim Journal is no exception.
