Before Islam came, and especially before AL-ISLAM came into the African American community there was a lot of unchallenged and unanswered impurities in our community. UNCHALLENGED; therefore, UNANSWERED problems and issues in our lives. There had been no mental or spiritual reparations (repairing to our original status) of the mind and soul of the former slaves except to receive “hand-me-down” religious thinking and the 
remnants of another people’s history, language and education. But independent help from outside of that which America provided – an immature America gave to us.
