O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other. Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he/she who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). [Qur'an Sura 49:13]
In our souls there is a universally common essence that unites all of humanity as one people, as one creation – as children of Adam our first father; Adam, the “father” of our original human nature.
In our intellectual potential, there is a universally common essence that unites all of humanity as one people, as one creation – as children of Abraham our second father; Abraham, the “father” of our rational-based faith.
All of humanity, who remain true to the original essence of nature and who compliment that original nature by devoting themselves to a faith in Allah that respects our rational mind – are all of one human family.
