THE FOLLOWING IS A PRE-RECORDED REPEAT PROGRAM
Join WORDS MAKE PEOPLE Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 1-3 p.m. (EST) as we REPLAY a 2015 interview with our Special Guest Dr. Derek King (Dr. M.L. King's nephew).
In this 2015 interview, we discussed civil & human rights as well many of the great works of his uncle, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We also revealed some of the contributions and life threatening sacrifices made by Derek King's father, the Rev. A.D. King, the younger brother of Dr. Martin Luther King.
Also, we discussed little-known facts of the African American Muslim's connection and role with the Civil Rights Movement. This was a mentally stimulating and spiritually reassuring interview with Dr. Derek Barber King.
Dr. Derek King is the former Director of Community Services and teaches Religious Studies and professor at Martin University in Indianapolis, IN.
