Raised in poverty in the USSR (what is now Kyrgyzstan), Katerina Lengold was determined to create a better life for herself. By the age of 14, she was enrolled in university, and by 16, she was running a successful graphic design business. At 19, she received a full scholarship to MIT, and by 23, Katerina had sold her space tech startup, becoming the world's youngest executive in the aerospace industry.Despite her accomplishments, Katerina felt unfulfilled and burned out, and decided to pursue her true passion - brain research.
