Taking Gender Out of It. The Daily Gogetemism

When I went to vote yesterday, I knew little about what I was voting for, but I found out that there was a vote to have gender references removed from your identification status. Why would anyone need to have their gender removed, as a way of identifying them? After thinking about it, I remember that some may use gender as a way of discriminating against some people in the application process of employment. Really, it looks like another way that the LGBTQ may getting their way again with the whole transgender thing. What do you think? Do you agree with this legislation?
