When we say that you shouldn't go to parties that you're not invited to, we can be talking about eavesdropping on a coversation and giving unwarranted advice when it wasn't asked for. Sometimes people welcome the advice. Sometimes people push back and it can get ugly. Sometimes it just means minding someone else's business.
