Most people try to keep the day-to-day activities of their homes and families private. It's not for the rest of the world to know. Nobody needs to know that daddy walks around the house in his underwear, or that there are some nights when meat cannot be afforded on the dinner table. Family privacy is one thing and family secrets are another thing. Both are to be respected, but family secrets are often private matters that may seem obvious that no one wants to be discussed further than inside the house. Mental illness is sometimes a family secret. Physical abuse is often a secret too. Both can be obvious if you know the family. That doesn't always serve the interests of a family member who doesn't want it discussed outside of the home. This is where it can get bad and where a breach may be more helpful than hurtful. Do you think that all family private matters should be kept secret? How does that affect protection for all that are involved? Let's talk.

That's what we're talking about tonight at 7PM ET on The Daily Gogetemism Show. Check this out:  https://youtube.com/live/WmxfFQdPsZs?feature=share
