Let's not act like we don't hold the children of people of certain professions to a higher standard. The stereotype of the preacher's kid is often not a flattering one. We usually think that they are bad. They get into things. They rebel. They are hardly ever the more obedient kids. That's not true now is it? If there are multiple kids, at least one of them will be bad, but the rest seem to be okay. We just focus on the bad kid. All of the kids seem to know that bible pretty well though. Would you agree? What about the teacher's kids? Do we expect them to be exceptionally smart, good in school and obedient in school? Many of us do. Does it always turn out that way? No it doesn't. We sometimes expect the children of teachers to know their way around school, so to speak. We may expect them to be able to impress other teachers. We often expect them to perform at a higher level academically. The teacher's kid can't have a reading problem, or not be able to count well can they? Why not? Let's talk.

That's what we're talking about tonight at 7PM ET on The Daily Gogetemism Show. Check this out:  https://youtube.com/live/HrquHXgugCg?feature=share
