This actually covers a lot of women, whether it is verbalized or not. IS it selfish? Maybe. Is it narcissistic? Possibly. Is it understandable? To some, yes. To others, it may be ridiculous. Just like a woman can choose whether to terminate a pregnancy if she doesn't want to have a child that she is pregnant with, can she refuse to get pregnant because she wants to preserve her body?
