I swear that before social media, I had never heard the term "for the streets" used to describe a promiscuous woman, or man. We would say that they were "out there", if someone was into a lot of things that were street-related, or unconventional in some way. Back then, as it is now, we were victims of peer pressure. We sometimes let the opinions of others determine who we could, or would be with. Not all the time, with everybody, but there was definitely an influence, just like there is now. Back then, it was only people that we knew that would influence us. Nowadays, it could come from anywhere. With so many rumors going around on the internet, what is our level with being comfortable with the choices of woman/man that we choose? Are we allowing the media and our peers tell us who we can, or should be happy with? Let's talk.
That's what we're talking about tonight at 7PM ET on The Daily Gogetemism Show. Check this out: https://youtube.com/live/kyCW7IgMvi4?feature=share
