Which circumstances warrant a warning, heads up, notification, or report that it is going to happen before you follow through? Is it all personal relationships? All business relationships? Is it just a common courtesy or practice that everyone should follow? What happens when a courtesy call should or could be made, but doesn't? Is that a violation? A sign of lack of respect? A following of protocol? Nothing, since it wasn't a requirement? Something that should be taken personally?
