We will discuss problems on the American landscape tonight with campaign fraud, recently by donations under speculation by WinRed that are being reviewed in federal and state courts.  We then launched into how political scandal was handled after the establishment of the Office of Special Counsel in the Executive Administration in 1978.  Richard Nixon fired the lead prosecutor Archibald Cox at the tail end of Watergate before he resigned.  Different investigations by leads in Exec branch led to various prosecutions, some dimunitive like the Studio 54 investigation of Hamilton Jordan in which he was cleared of using cocaine.  We had two excellent callers nationwide who then transformed the discussion to modern political candidates from Wellstone to Sanders, Palin to Harris, Trump to Hillary and measured their strengths and weaknesses.   Jane and Don have met serveral of the candidates separately including Cory Booker, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Larry Elder, Bernie Sanders, Mike Pence, Donald Trump and others.
