On January 3, 2017 including NAACP President and CEO Cornell William Brooks have been arrested during a sit-in staged at the Mobile office of Sen. Jeff Sessions. Meanwhile the next day on January 4, 2017 NAACP Washington Bureau director and senior vice president for advocacy attended a Trump transition team listening session.
