This week the AMAA Martial Arts Master Radio Show Shihan Darlene and Karen Schlachter two of the all-time greats in sport karate.
Shihan Darlene in the 1960’s and 70’s McPherson competed in Women’s divisions in tournaments in Alabama, Florida and Louisiana, mostly at small local tournaments, sharing warm up space with heroes Bill Wallace, Joe Corley, Gerald Giles, John Rankin and other elite champions. Shies is Featured in the 2016 Who's Who in the Martial Arts Autobiography Book.

Karen Schlachter
Karen is a very special martial artist with deep talents in Sport Karate. She started training July 1959. in Judo, the she Continued to Kodokan Judo in 1962 with Sensei Darrell Meeks and Sensei Steven Martin ( now known as Grandmaster S L Martin ) for 5 years. She has many personal achievements as a martial artist.
