He has studied Soryu Karate under Joe Alvarado from the beginning to this day

He has over 1700 Awards as a Junior Competitor 
He is a History General for the Sport Karate Museum and has been awarded a Living Legend Award from the Sport Karate Museum
His traveling Texas partners were Raymond McCallum , Al Francis , Linda Denley and many others 
He has done many appearances at the Six Flag Karate Shows
