Mikie Rowe Moore is a icon in the Martial Arts Community for it was her stepping up to the plate to help get Women Sport Karate on the Map back in a time ,well Women's opinions were not met on the same level as Men's Karate , She help change that attitude !

She was a Pioneer in fighting , Rules Arbitration and Refereeing in a professional manner. She was chosen by Pioneer Ed Parker Senior creator of the Long Beach Internationals to be the first Women Arbitrator for the Tournament . 

She was rated in the first Ladies Poll by Black Belt Magazine in the TOP FIVE FIGHTERS IN AMERICA , voted by the Black Belt Men fighters and she was a tenacious , no holds type of fighter that would play the game or trade with you if that is what you wanted.

She is now a History General for the Sport Karate Museum Archives and full time Ambassador who travels around the Country representing the work of the Sport Karate Museum Archives with her history and incredible memory of how it was all about when this sport was created.

She has been chosen to give her "Natural Fighter Award" in her name this year at the 25th Anniversary to Phyllis Everetts Kathleen Gapusand, Sharon Wong, Pam Watson and she will be hosting a Self Defense Seminar at the Day of Legends at the Roast
