 Hanshi Jerry Piddington is a encyclopedia of Karate and Sport Karate Knowledge, he has lived it and been around the creation of sport karate from the beginning of our sport. n started as a ten year child walked into San ,Tegro California and started studying martial arts. He then found Shotokan Karate Instructor Caylor Atkins R.I.P , who by the way with Dan Ivan R.I.P are responsible of bringing in Fumio Demura Sensei to the United States and the start of his incredible years of stardom. 

His first tournament experience was as a green belt. He made his Black Belt in 1968 and it was a joy ride from that moment , he was a fierce competitor with master qualities early in his skills , he is a Kata fanatic ,however he was known for his fighting and being pure karate attitude in all his skills. He was Top Ten Rated and he fought everyone , I mean everyone at the hey day of sport karate royalty , Everett Eddy, Joe Lewis, Jim Butin, Wally Sloki and many ,many others , his toughest opponent USKA's Artis Simmons and we will talk of that encounter

What a American martial art treasure!!!
One of the Original History Generals for the Sport Karate Museum and personal consultant for a lot of my adventures in America .
We had the pleasure of Roasting him though the Sport Karate Museum and Ricky Smith really stepped up for that one !
