To me he is "Uncle Phil " he is one of the many Texans who adopted my attitude when I blew into Texas like a hurricane, a lot of people did not understand my Karate , however, he did and men like Allen Steen ,J.Pat Burleson, Jim Butin ,Phil Wilmon and others did, so I survived the onslaught of Texas Sport Karate opinions and now I get to interview one of the true Texas heroes of our sport!
