Joe Corley Live interview about the Battle of Atlanta 50th Anniversary June 15th -16th
May 15th, AMAA Masters Radio

One of the memories I had coming to America or the mainland in the early 1970's was meeting Sam Chapman and living in his basement underneath the stairs of the Greenville School of Karate.at the time was the only karate school in the city I got to hang out and meet incredible men of early martial arts in America,

Joe Corley
A rare and personal interview with the inventor and creator of the Battle of Atlanta, however, Mr. Corley may be known as a super producer and historian, I remember him as a karate fighter that help introduce the world of Full -Contact Karate in America through his guidance of the PKA, his amazing commentary work as an announcer and of course his two legendary Fights with Super foot Bill Wallace .
We will share the old days, the vision that he had for America and karate and his fifty years of producing one of the largest karate tournaments in the world "The Battle of Atlanta"

The personal friends that are the living legends of the sport and we will talk about what is planned for the 50th Anniversary of this very important tournament in America. and how important is the prestigious, and elite Joe Lewis "External Warrior" Award
Who were the first recipients and who will be honored this year and why is the last year to give out this honor.
Mr. Joe Corley is one of those History Generals who didn't just create the dream but lived, shared it and nourish the history of American martial arts and Karate.and we were lucky to be along for his ride in the history books.
