He began as a student in martial arts at the age of 6 in order to obtain an activity that would assist in my physical defense because he lived in an area with an excessive amount of violent crimes. Chief Master Stewart states, at the age of 12 martial arts became more than just an activity for self-defense but rather a part of who he has become.
