About Saltlyfe
Born in Virginia, Saltlyfe comes to us as a talented hip hop artist. He also has roots in South Carolina and Savannah GA. He first got into music in middle school and started performing and winning competitions in North Carolina around that time. In particular, he won "Best Rap Performance" at the Hood Awards in 2009. In 2012, he was deployed by the army to Kuwait. There, he started doing performances at a local Starbucks, and performed on a tour that was traveling through Kuwait at the time. Saltlyfe also received a plaque honoring his talent while he was there. When returning to the US, he was able to open up form some names like TI and Ashanti. He then had an 8 year hiatus until returning to the music scene in 2022 like he never left. Tune in for more. POW!
