Dr. DeForest B. Soaries, former Secretary of State of New Jersey, talks about how to live dfree™ (debt free) and break free from financial slavery. Dr. Soaries is the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens (NJ) of 25 years, author, motivational speaker, educator, and community organizer. His feature on CNN’s documentary "Black in America" brought awareness that financial debt is slavery. The dfree™ movement began in 2005 within his church that was in financial trouble. Members committed to learning how to live without deficits, delinquency, or debt (dfree™ program), in 6 months the church’s income rose by $500,000 and in 12 months it increased by 1 million dollars.
