Presidential Recovery

Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss President Trump's recovery from. Covid-19. The President made his first public appearance since his diagnosis by holding an event from the upper balcony of the White House on Saturday after being cleared by his doctors to resume his campaign. Attendees were wearing masks but didn't social distance. Was the President's event a stunt or a testament to rapid development of treatment for covid? Also, the only Vice-presidential debate took place this week between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris. Pundits praised both candidates performances but most say it was a solid night for the GOP ticket as Mike Pence was able to regain much needed momentum that was slowed by the White House Coronavirus breakout. The issues ranged from covid to Breonna Taylor to the Supreme Court. The debate was much better formatted than the ruckus Presidential debate. Who did better for their party on Wednesday? Tomorrow, the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court pick Amy Coney Barrett begin. Democrats have tried to delay the hearings until after the election even making threats to pack the court. Many are critical of Judge Barrett's Catholic faith saying it raises concerns about sensitive cases. Can one be objective and devoted to their Religion? Please join the discussion at 10AM.
