What is the sate of the union?

Good morning! Today on The Meter, we will cover Joe Biden's State of the Union Address. Biden used a raised tone of voice for the entire speech, trying to display that he has the energy to lead the country for another 5 years. The words used by the 81 year old sounded more like a convention speech rather than a national address. It took Biden 4 minutes to mention January 6th, but 40 minutes to speak of the border. Biden said Donald Trump's name 13 times via "my predecessor." During the "address,"  Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene yelled to Biden,"Laken Riley, say her name. " Biden called the murdered victim of an illegal alien Lincoln Riley, prompting Ms. Riley's mother to call Biden pathetic. Also, yelling at Biden was Steve Nikoui, the father of a US Marine, killed in the Kabul Airport terrorist bombing during the botched evacuation of Afghanistan. Biden continued to tout his record and made his case for his 2024 campaign. Biden said the country was more secure than before he took office and American companies are causing inflation with smaller candy bars and potato chip bags that aren't full,receiving jeers from the audience.  Democrat members followed with "4 more years." Biden continues to trail his "predecessor" in recent polls in battleground states. How do you see the state of our union?
