Good morning! Today, on The Meter, we will cover the ongoing protests on American college campuses against Israel and their war against Hamas. Several universities have canceled graduation ceremonies amidst the disruptions for safety concerns. This decision is reminiscent of the 2020 Covid lock downs that forced the same students to miss their high school commencement. How will the continuing student dissenters impact race relations and the 2024 elections in the United States? Also, Donald Trump's trials are moving forward in New York and on the US Supreme Court. Trump's defense team cross-examination of a key prosecution witness seemed to place the entire case in jeopardy. The State  says Trump persuaded David Pecker not to publish stories that might damage his 2016 campaign, but under cross, Pecker admitted he did the same for dozens of others. Also, in the presidential immunity case, the high court seems poised to send the case back to a lower court for further review. Just as the election season is heating up and the nominees are talking debates, how will the cases affect the race if they fall apart? Also, around the world, the political spectrum Adam Schiff was robbed in San Francisco, Bennie Thompson is planning to take away Trump's secret service protection, and AOC praises Columbia's protest after chants of pigs, death to zionists, and global intifada.
