1) FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried found guilty of scamming billions from crypto customers Bankman-Fried is fried. Sam Bankman-Fried perpetrated one of the biggest financial frauds in American history — a multibillion-dollar scheme designed to make him the King of Crypto. Bankman-Fried now faces a maximum sentence of 110 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for Mar. 28 next year. A second trial for five additional charges against the disgraced former billionaire is also currently scheduled for March.

2) New House Speaker is off the chain, Mike Johnson is doing one party politics and NOT the will of us the people. GOP’s impeachment inquiry against President Biden is factually unfounded and legally baseless–there is no constitutional basis.

3) GOP just passed bill for billions of $$ to Israel, no more funding for Ukraine, wants closed door secretive sessions to cut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, childcare, SNAP, saddled school lunch program with 262 million dollar debt. House Republicans continue to use our taxpayer money to put on a revenge-for-the 45th circus. All the while we face yet another potential government shutdown, we continue to reel from a summer full of climate disasters, wars are raging, and Americans still struggle to attain and retain basic human needs like food security and health care.
