All he does is win.! Murphy Witherspoon is a winner. He says he wins because the Danaher/Shingijutsu system saved billions of dollars when he was a Master Black Belt. This inspired him to acquire the globally-recognized title of “Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt.” And with this invaluable knowledge he facilitates and trains management of manufacturers in these two disciplines. Witherspoon believes that the way companies survive is through change. Continuous change involves the entire team and employee base having a leadership attitude of we can do this. As a manager of 40+ he utilizes those leadership skills to win. And as an entrepreneur, he has learned that training and executing leadership skills is a must to win. Witherspoon believes that with a quick-changing world, entrepreneurship is the way to succeed. He also advocates the mindset of supporting “people, planet, and profit” - an ideal fit for the Polk Institute Foundation. Witherspoon is notable for his affiliation with Toastmasters, rising fourth in the world.
