Poppa's 71st Birthday Celebration

We met in college @ The Ohio State University in 1972. I was the ring leader of "Rating the Freshmen" guys with my girlfriends. W e were laughing  at my colorful commentary. When the next elevator opened, he was the only one on it as it was meal time and all the elevators before him were crowed with hungary students. I looked up ready to rate the next guys. I see him bathed in this calming beautitul light as the doors opened. It was as if time stopped as he was  getting off the elevator on his way to the caferteria. I get off of my ratings perch, (the arm of the sofa) turned to my friends and boldly said, Don't even think about him, that is my husband and the father of my children. Before I made my move one of the girls sai d, No That's Kennedy I went to high school with him, he is one of the nicest guys I know.
