On a night featuring Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder and former President Bill Clinton, it was young Gus Walz who created one of the most striking moments of the Democratic National Convention's third day in Chicago. As Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz delivered his speech accepting the Democratic vice presidential nomination, he gave his family a shoutout from the stage. "Hope, Gus and Gwen. You are my entire world and I love you," Walz said. Then Gov. Walz's son openly shared his pride and joy. As the cameras showed the three in the stands, Gus — who had earlier been clapping along with those cheering Walz’s speech — stood and tearfully pointed to his father. "That's my dad!" Gus Walz wins over social media with emotions for his father. Gus has been open about his struggles with ADHD, he is Neurodivergent, a term used to describe people whose brains process information in a way that's different from what's considered typical or neurotypical. He deals with ADHD, anxiety, and a nonverbal learning disorder. Kids and teens like Gus might struggle with controlling their feelings in social situations.
Then the ignorant, jealous, haters, all they could do was stoop the the lowest of the lows (I thought they'd done that already) they show how deep their HATE for THEMSELVES is as to critize a 17 yr. old child who has more love, joy and compassion in his pinky toe that they will never know.
