My Guest Tonight Melissa Toon, 

She is a self represented litigant in NC who has stood up in the face of overwhelming odds against the corrupt family court system. She has survived and learned to free herself from the constant psychological control and abuse, while facing an abuser via the FCS through healing and helping others heal.

She is the founder of the facebook group #survivingpostseparation abuse, parenting and context of coercive control. The youtube channel Mamas In Pursuit Of Happiness. Throughout her own investigation and research she has uncovered a litany of information and unknown facts that will empower other moms as the message spreads. Although still constantly battling censorship and technological interference by those that abuse their power.

After experiencing violent acts by her abuser, post separation, she was then sent to prison for her first offense by way of a subsequent abusive relationship.  Her story is surreal, yet verifiable. 

Although she left her abusive relationship, by way of Incarceration and a journey in self-love and learning to breathe regardless of the relentless harmful actions against her and her children-she has become aware that A lot of the abuse has been perpetuated by the agencies deemed responsible for her protection, and the protection of her children.

As a former licensed practical nurse, honor roll political science student bound to begin grad school on a pathway to law school, and a survivor of over a decade of coercive control, family court abuses, abuses of power within law enforcement, she has a very unique perspective on what we can do to free ourselves from the constant suffering of not being able to protect our children.
