November Is Family Court Awareness Month

My Guest Tonight Is Cadence (Kay-dence) Harper,

I'm 34 years old and a lifelong Virginia resident.

My case started in 1992 when I was just 4 years old until my parents divorce.  My mother was a narcissist, and my parents had a custody battle over me for years until I was emancipated at 17 years old.  At 18 I joined the army, but was injured a year later and sent home.  I got pregnant when I was just 20 years old.

I lived with Steven, my daughter (Melanie's dad) until she was about 4 and then we broke up. We moved around a bit and I ended up moving back to my narcissistic mom's house.

In 2017, my mom filed false accusations of child abandonment against me in a county in which we didn't live in. The guy who was my Child's (Guardian Ad Litem) GAL helped my mom.  I filed a complaint for conflict of interest and of course the Bar refused to investigate.

After years of homelessness, I finally got a house and won custody back on August 2nd of this year.  Melanie is doing well and her dad is very much involved. No issues with co-parenting.

I run all the class action teams on Facebook.  USA Family Court Class Action Team  https://www.facebook.com/groups/2667193133414216/?ref=share_group_link

I just wanted to help others going through the abuse and the court system in any way I can.
