A Broader Vision or Compromise?

We are still taking requests for guest speakers.  You can send us a recording of a speaker to use, but we would like to have the speaker available to answer questions when possible.  We are also planning to have a couple of shows dedicated to gospel music. Please send us recordings of your music for these programs.  We have people who like our show, and those who share how they feel when we get off base.  We welcome all of you!

We live in a time where the entire world feels that it is more enlightened then previous generations.  Tolerance seems to be the message.  But was the message of Jesus just as progressive toward people, but firm against what sin was?  When the people were about to stone a woman who was guilty of her charges, Jesus stood in the gap and said, "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."  It appears sometimes, that due to weak minds and discipline, that we have set up formats in our church so that we are no longer  separate, but segregated.  A segregation put in place to help those of faith stay faithful, instead of providing a sanctuary or life change experience to the people we are called to evangelize,. This is a sticky playing field for people in church.  But have we taken the interaction of Jesus out of the equation to establish our own rules and principals just like the early Jews did when God grafted in the wild vine?  We talk so much about balance, but is this balance of our own choice and decision VS. what Jesus has called us to do?  We do not claim to have the answer, but feel that it's important to give you something that will cause you to think about where you are, and hit your knees to allow the Holy Ghost to speak in your life. As always, we look forward to your comments as we never claim to be the experts.
