Self-confidence is a feeling or emotion that comes from with in yourself, simply because you respect and love yourself and do not allow others who are around you to just respect you simply because they don't know how to talk any other way. For instance, if I am disrespectful to you in the way I talk to you then I can expect you to be disrespectful to me. Here is the theory that shows you how to be respectable to someone when you talk to them. In transactional analysis, in one of four ways: I'm okay-- you're okay, I'm not okay--yo're okay, I'm okay--you're okay, and finally I'm not okay-- you're not okay. This means that if I don't like myself then I will talk to you disrespectfully but if I like myself I will respect you when I speak to you. And another analogy is that if people around me don't just respectable to me and talk to me up accordingly then I learned to speak to everyone around me in the same way. The only way to overcome this bad behavior is to learn to love yourself first and then learn how to communicate to the people around you in a way that you want them to communicate to you. People who should listen to the show are mental health workers, coaches, psychiatrist, therapist, etc.
