Has your boss, or another co-worker ever yelled at you? How did you feel? What did you do about it? Perhaps it made you feel angry, frustrated and upset and you kept it inside. Or perhaps you complained to Human Resources or some higher authority within your company. Or did you yell back, or walk away or even quit your job? These may seem like the only options available to you and, if you're anything like most of the people I work with, you will have felt powerless and kept everything to yourself, resulting in feelings of stress, anxiety and frustration that lead to physical pain. Step 1 - It's Really Not About You The first step is to recognize that when someone yells at you or makes you feel bad, it's because their own insecurities are coming up.
Step 2 - Ask Yourself These Questions The second step is to ask yourself some questions:
