Our hosts, Paula Thompson, Andre Radatus , Chuck Thurston, Pamela Chaddock, and Marvin Gawryn are ministers, students and scholars of The Urantia Book, all with at least four decades of experience with it. We sometimes interview guests on topics related to modern and progressive spirituality, but most often we explore The Urantia Book together on air. This week we will again be studying Urantia Paper 12: The Universe of Universe & Section 6. Universal Overcontrol. This section discusses and explains that the universe is nonstatic. It is constantly in motion and change. Stability in the universe is not achieved through inertia or stagnation but rather through balanced energies, cooperative minds, coordinated morontias, spirit overcontrol, and personality unification. Balanced Energies: The universe maintains stability through the equilibrium of various forms of energy. Cooperative Minds: Harmony and cooperation among intelligent beings contribute to the overall stability. Coordinated Morontias: Morontia is a term designating a vast level intervening between the material and the spiritual, a combination of spirit and mind working together in harmony plays a crucial role. Spirit Overcontrol: The influence of spirit and higher spiritual forces helps maintain order. Personality Unification: The unification of individual personalities into a cohesive whole is essential for stability. The section emphasizes that stability is directly proportional to divinity, meaning the more aligned the universe is with divine principles, the more stable it becomes! Consider this statement: 12:6.8.Individuals have their guardians of destiny; planets, systems, constellations, universes, and superuniverses each have their respective rulers who labor for the good of their domains. Havona and even the grand universe are watched over by those intrusted with such high responsibilities. But who fosters and cares for the fundamental needs of the master universe as a whole, from Paradise to the fourth and outermost space level?
