AS IF RESTRICTED BY OUR HISTORY

Are we restricted by our history? If we sense we are, is it permanent?  Or is it a starting point?  We take from masonry what we can. We do with it as we will.Let's not forget, no one said it is for everyone or that it is easy. We have evidence of that in the spread of masonic practices that have dominated far too many conversations, far too long. That would be true if masonry was static.  When we think that, we are taking a snapshot.  We use it to examine more closely, but we don't loose track of the fact while it gives us a picture to study, it is only an illusion. We can't stop anything, anytime. It's magik.  If we want to reduce risk, we learning from the experiences of others. If we are fortunate, we recognize what is credible but never stop exploring what seems improbable. But thats absurd to think. I tell myself history repeats itself. It doesn't but I tell myself to avoid complications, telling myself they are wasteful interruptions. We move forward, along with everything else. Vibrations of different frequency with a difference. One of those vibrations is sensate. It has awareness of itself and all the other vibes. But far too abstract to tell a story.  Our learning window is temporary as we are temporary.  Masonry quietly extolls us by feeding our curiosity and yearning.  True is, we may say it is a universal and it would be true at some level, if we weren't also unique specimens.  Masonry may be more like a destination on a chart than a route to that destination. It soothes us knowing this disappointment schmoozle is a search for enlightenment. It doesn't come with clean lines, or binary precision. It comes riding on spectrums. Whether that has value depends on if and how it has been explained. Masonry touches us all in different ways at different times as it always has done. We are creating history everytime we open.
