AS HUMANITY COMES TOGETHER

Today, we celebrate the efforts of all masons, through all time that carried us to this moment. Every day we aspire to do what is right and good. We know emersing ourselves in fields of ethical convesation is influential. In the darkness of time, there are beacons drawing men together to do just that- to express a collective good will that embraces all mankind.  If we allowed ourselves to indulge our own thoughts, we couldn't possibly reach closer to our capacity. We need each other, as much to validate as to challenge. Within the expanse of imagination, we have stunning examples of beauty and grace in lodges built to communicate without words, a seriousness and importance of Arts & Sciences over time. But we make that part of our domestic scenery. A lodge is where we gather, where we conduct our practices and listen to the exchange of ideas. As magnificent structures, they influence as they ought, the creation of lodges where inspired men find comfort.   And for men who need to transgress the obvious, our core connects us with ancient knowledge, even the esoteric practices of the kabbalah all mystical and esoteric. To answer our questions there is no shortage of opportunity to explore our relationship with fringe and entirty in the safety of ideas. Is there a link? That depends on the depths of inquiry. Probably. Definitely.  But even as we come together with our growing body of knowledge, doubt and time cast long shadows over us. I suspect more brethren are using the privacy of their homes to explore these questions because they are a man stimulated to understand. First priniciple?  I'll let you know when I get there. Until then our coming together is the stuff of legend. It is always a good time to celebrate .
