Search as far as you can to find satisfaction, but don't loose track of how impactful your values can be on outcomes. It's startling when we first discover within ourselves we aren't what we want to believe about ourselves. We are the complete package, clear/confused/confident/doubtful. I've never met a man dilberately trying to sabotage his own progress.  Some acts can seem odd and even bizarre with convoluted logic but they all are efforts to do the best he can with what he has at hand. Getting by the best way you can, is the basic contract between a man and his creator. When the dawn appears, then we can set to work instilling different perspectives, some that may have been devalued or overlooked.  When I listen to myself, it makes more sense when I reveal that my thinking is an attempt to live without being ruled by value judgements. I won't bore you with those details. You will have your own notions if and when you begin that line of questioning. For me, it was a discovery that brought a sense of validation.  Aristotle taught me determining right or wrong using my own values, meant I was limiting my thinking and tilting at windmills.  Many of his prepositions  have left us asking how we know anything to be true without examination?  He doesn't tell us we are guessing but that's what he is getting at. When we are being taught by mutual selection, there is a bond that forms; one that is not violated from the outside. It is that bond that was the process of oral history, oral teaching. We gave it up when we found books more efficient, but we never gave up the need or appreciation of the trust formed between two of us at a time. We two could discuss anything and everything and we did. We absorbed information through out studies but with the built in advantage of meaningful discussion. Somewhere I've read that knowledge becomes wisdom when we discuss. I like the premise very much.It makes us think
