Ellen Hartwell and John Warren will be doing an hour-long show called Jesus For The Rest Of Us. This is our attempt to reclaim Jesus for those of us put off by the superhero, hippie or catch all saviour presented by so many modern churches. None of these narratives of Jesus appeal to many otherwise spiritually minded people. Can we find a way back to a "Christ" we can experience without dumbing ourselves down, acting out of fear , or needing cover for choices we regret? Can we rediscover Jesus' teachings, his passions, his life and, yes, the story of his death and resurrection from a more metaphysical, less dogmatic place? Ellen and John are going to try. We will not agree ( or disagree) on all things. Please join us for our spirited discussions on Jesus For The Rest Of Us.
