Mike and Michele report on Dagny Kight. Dagny Kight spent most of her life earning a salary until a career change landed her in commission sales. But inconsistent paychecks, especially after the crash of 2008, made it tough for her to properly manage her own taxes. When her employer cut commissions and then shut down operations, Dagny found herself with a big tax bill. Owing over $42,000 in back taxes to the IRS, Dagny’s problem got much worse when she discovered that tax settlement firms wanted thousands in fees to take her case.
