The  Certified Manufacturing Practitioner (CMP) - The global economy relies heavily on manufacturing; hence selecting the means to ensure the sustained growth of the manufacturing industry is paramount.

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of a certification to bridge the gap between manufacturing and research in the United States Manufacturing Industries through a common language.
 
Manufacturing leaders participating in the survey for the feasibility study were from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Rolls Royce, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, and United Technologies; including supply chain leaders from business and the U.S. Government, with survey response rate of 48.7%.
