Welcome to "Community with Marie Lazzara." On this show, Marie interviews people from the business and nonprofit sectors as well as others who involve themselves in unique contributions to their communities.
Join Marie as she interviews with Valerie Walker LCSW, Faculty and Program Coordinator of Human Services Program at Harper College in Palatine and Renee Renz, a representative of the Cook County/Northwestern Suburbs Weston A. Price Foundation chapter.
Harper College’s Human Services Program teaches students the fields of human services, social work, clinical practice and management. In their work human services professionals work coordinate services, lead groups, organize volunteers, teach life skills, assist clients in need of crisis intervention or supportive counseling, or administer emergency assistance to persons in need.
The Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 by nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston A. Price. Price's research showed that humans achieve perfect physical form and perfect health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats.
