Welcome to "Community with Marie Lazzara."

On this show, Marie interviews people from the business and nonprofit sectors as well as others who involve themselves in unique contributions to their communities.

Join Marie as she interviews former Chicago Bears player Dennis McKinnon. McKinnon, who proudly wore number 85 as a Bear, was the starting wide receiver from the famous 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl XX Champions.

In 1999, McKinnon established Bearly Active Productions, Inc. BAP provides services that include but are not limited to corporate events, motivational speaking, celebrity appearances, musical acts, product endorsements and fundraising.

He is involved in the nonprofit Gridiron Greats. Gridiron Greats is a charitable organization whose purpose is to provide financial aid and medical assistance to former NFL players and their families in dire need. Dennis will assist in corporate fundraising efforts and serve as player liaison to retired NFL players.

Marie will also interview local author Cheryl A. Price. Price has many years under her belt as a religion writer for Press Publications and Gatehouse Publications. She used work and personal experiences to develop her new career: a children’s author and a historical fiction writer. Cheryl will share with listeners her journey from reporter to author.
