On this show, Marie interviews people from the business and nonprofit sectors as well as others who involve themselves in unique contributions to their communities.
This week, Marie and co-host Ivor Kellock will interview Dinu Skariah, assistant director of counseling for Veterans Upward Bound, a program at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Dinu helps disadvantaged post-secondary students by assisting them in the college admission process, procuring financial aid, academic tutoring and career advisement.
We will also present a prerecorded interview by Fred McMurray, CTO and co-founder of Linked Local Network. Fred talked with president from the AIMS Education Foundation in Fresno, Calif. AIMS is a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping teachers give students a solid conceptual understanding of math and science.
