Tonight's special guests are Gita M Patel of PTSDNJ and her colleague, Daniel McBride. PTSDNJ has a mission to provide holistic and alternative recovery methods to survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence, abuse and various types of trauma, as well as offering support services to staff and volunteers who work with these populations. They provide free and confidential holistic healing group services for adults, adolescents and children who are having difficulty managing the effects of PTSD and trauma. PTSDNJ is also expanding their services to include military veterans and their families. Over the past three years Gita and Daniel have worked hard to combine her clinical work with his holistic work to develop a very effective recovery program. It is with Daniel's "Heart Protocols" that they were able to establish a highly effective holistic therapy treatment for survivors of sexual and domestic violence.
