Tonight's special guests are Tammie Ortiz from Rome, New York, child abuse and domestic abuse survivor, and the co-author of her book, Mark Crever. Ms Ortiz says, "There is one thing that my abusers could not take from me. I still have Jesus in me. With this I will continue heal and walk in my new journey now. I will be strong and inspire others to keep finding their healing." Her e-book "My Spiritual Healing Though Jesus" (written under the pseudenem Angel Joan) was written in the hopes that others will be convinced to give up the secrets of their youth and enter into recovery. Tammie explains that her e-book describes the trauma that impacted her mental health. "I am recovering from anxiety and agoraphobia now. I had lived in hiding from the public and my family, living in the shame that people would find out I'd been a victim in my home and in my marriage." She continues, "After the last incident of rape and abuse I found a way to escape from my husband. Writing a memoir of my abuse and my healing was a way I healed my past and I hope one day I will inspire other victims to become survivors."
